Gimhae Buncheong Ceramics Museum
김해분청도자박물관
The Gimhae Buncheong Ceramics Museum was established to inherit and develop the traditional ceramic heritage of Gimhae, which flourished from the Three Kingdoms period through the Joseon Dynasty, and to establish Gimhae's identity as a centre of buncheong ceramics. In addition to promoting the excellence of Gimhae ceramics through three to four planned exhibitions per year, the museum hosts various ceramic-related cultural education programmes including the "Traditional Kiln Firing" camp utilising the traditional kiln in the annex, the Gimhae Citizens' Ceramic Arts College, and children's ceramic classes, and through the operation of permanent ceramic experience programmes, it is establishing itself as a space for experiential education.
