Huinnyeoul Culture Village
흰여울문화마을
Huinnyeoul Culture Village is where the sorrowful lives of refugees began and where a cultural village community that engages with local residents is now located. Huinnyeoul-gil in Busan's original downtown area takes its name from the way multiple streams of water flowing down the foot of Bongrae Mountain curve toward the sea, resembling the appearance of fast-moving water as if white snow were falling. It is also famous as a filming location for numerous dramas and films. After public and abandoned buildings were remodeled in December 2011, it has now been transformed into a unique cultural and artistic village where one can experience the life of Yeongdo.
